Responsibilities
- Support Guidewire BillingCenter configuration, enhancement, maintenance, and insurance platform solution activities.
- Contribute to software development for billing workflows, integrations, and system updates.
- Debug application issues and participate in problem resolution for deployed Guidewire solutions.
- Assist with production support, ticket triage, issue research, and defect remediation.
- Help implement automation and digital tooling to improve application performance and delivery speed.
- Interpret functional requirements and translate them into technical updates within Guidewire environments.
- Execute code changes, unit testing, and deployment support.
- Apply Guidewire BillingCenter, PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and ContactManager knowledge to connected application processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1–3 years of experience required.
- Deep BillingCenter experience and working knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and ContactManager.
- Knowledge of GOSU, Guidewire Event and Rules Framework, Guidewire Web Services, XML, JSON, ANT, MAVEN, and Gradle scripts.
- Experience with SOAP UI, Postman, SVN, and GIT.
- English oral and written proficiency required.
- Preferred qualifications include extensive Guidewire Application Managed Service or Application Evolution Services experience, solution strategy experience, Guidewire delivery across on-premises and SaaS environments, and the ability to support complex client engagements.
- Preference for study in fields including actuarial science, business, computer science or applications, engineering, information technology, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related listed disciplines.
- Guidewire and/or Scrum Master certification preferred.
- Ability to learn software development methods and digital tooling, adapt to client support priorities, communicate clearly, accept feedback, and work collaboratively.
