Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for parts of the web platform and drive alignment across teams.
- Identify and execute high-leverage improvements in web quality, delivery speed, and reliability.
- Partner with product engineers and technical leads to design ecosystem-wide solutions.
- Build and evolve internal tooling, frameworks, golden paths, shared libraries, and web foundations.
- Improve CI reliability and local developer workflows through faster, more usable feedback loops.
- Coach and mentor engineers and help develop technical leadership across the frontend community.
- Contribute hands-on code as a meaningful part of the role.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining complex web applications at scale.
- Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend engineering; React experience is a plus.
- Experience designing maintainable systems, including frontend-facing APIs and platform boundaries.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices and tooling.
- Experience improving CI/CD and developer productivity.
- Experience with observability and monitoring for web systems, including metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.
- Ability to work effectively across teams, communicate tradeoffs clearly, coach others, and drive technical decisions.
