Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of the software stack for autonomous-driving silicon and systems, including boot, security, safety, drivers, operating systems, middleware, OTA, and applications.
- Optimize system performance and collaborate with algorithm teams on optimization challenges across hardware and software.
- Lead and collaborate with peers across organizations.
- Debug software at the board and silicon level using appropriate probing hardware.
- Optimize system performance and power from hardware through software.
Requirements
- 7+ years of significant software and product experience in SoC system software design and optimization, including OS kernel optimization and real-time development.
- Deep understanding of QNX/Linux OS kernels and proficiency in C/C++.
- Extensive experience with BSPs and drivers for sophisticated automotive or embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of CPU architecture, ARM/RISC-V/MIPS processors, ISA, memory subsystems, coherency, AI/ML architecture, and security.
- Experience debugging at board or silicon level and performing hardware-to-software performance and power optimization.
- Demonstrated leadership and passion for innovation.
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- English and Mandarin communication skills.
- Autonomous-driving or AUTOSAR/ISO 26262 experience is a plus.
