Responsibilities

  • Design, build, prototype, package, and deploy machine learning and generative AI solutions at scale.
  • Deliver production-ready analytical solutions and ensure production code runs within the Ascend platform and Experian client software.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Research, Data Science, product, consulting, sales, and external partners on machine learning, dashboarding, ad hoc analysis, and AI applications.
  • Develop models and prototypes using supervised learning, unsupervised learning, deep learning, graph analytics, anomaly detection, and reinforcement learning.
  • Use prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, and model evaluation frameworks to develop and deploy generative AI capabilities.
  • Write modular, production-quality code using version control, code reviews, and automated testing.
  • Analyze structured and unstructured data, document model methodologies and performance, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support product launches, client implementations, early client adoption, and evolution of Experian's ML and AI ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in AI, data science, or predictive modeling, including complex hands-on analytical technology, innovation, and client-focused projects.
  • Advanced degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Statistical modeling proficiency in at least one programming language and coding skills in Python.
  • Experience with distributed computing frameworks and the AWS computing platform.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets with Spark, preferably PySpark.
  • Experience developing models with Python or SAS.
  • Experience applying generative AI tools and rapidly prototyping new concepts.
  • Some background in model risk management, governance processes, regulatory requirements, and advances in large language models.
  • Ability to communicate model methodologies, assumptions, performance, and trade-offs clearly to diverse stakeholders.
