Responsibilities
- Assist in the automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software release process.
- Maintain and improve onsite-based infrastructure (VM, Docker, Hyper-V).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
- Support configuration management using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.
- Assist in managing containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of DevOps practices.
- Implement security best practices and compliance measures.
- Document processes, configurations, and system changes.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of networking, security, and system administration fundamentals.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
