Base Salary
$82k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve software architecture for embedded, real-time, and kernel-mode systems.
- Assess hardware and software for security vulnerabilities using static, dynamic, and other analysis techniques.
- Develop, integrate, document, and maintain low-level software tools and tailored cyber capabilities.
- Create tools and systems for vulnerability detection, reverse engineering, and exploit development.
- Identify technical risks, contribute to requirements, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership, task planning, delegation, and feedback.
- Present technical concepts and participate in proposal writing and business-winning activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Proficiency in custom low-level software development, complex system integration, static and dynamic program analysis, and vulnerability research.
- Experience with Ghidra, IDA, Binary Ninja, Radare, Angr, GDB, WinDbg, QEMU, and AFL++.
- Proficiency with C, C++, Python, Go, and Rust and experience with compiler toolchain development such as custom LLVM passes.
- Understanding of operating systems, including Windows, GNU/Linux, and RTOS environments, and architectures such as x86, ARM, and RISC-V.
- Experience with reverse-engineering automation, analysis frameworks, obfuscation or diversification, machine learning for cyber tool development, or novel R&D concepts is preferred.
- Experience with task leadership, proposal writing, business winning, and communicating with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance; an existing TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
