Base Salary
$123k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain highly scalable solutions based on KVM Linux, Kubernetes, and public cloud providers.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system performance and complex issues across operating systems and applications.
- Maintain platform security and observability using nftables and comprehensive monitoring.
- Manage and deploy systems and software in Kubernetes, OpenStack, and other diverse environments.
- Develop and maintain custom tools using Python, Golang, and Bash.
- Manage access across systems, platforms, and applications while addressing Linux networking and security issues.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Linux/UNIX system administration or SysAdmin roles.
- Strong understanding of web security, protocols, and SSH.
- Technical security aptitude with PGP, SSH, PKI, and multi-factor authentication.
- Mastery of networking fundamentals including DHCP, ARP, subnetting, routing, NAT, firewalls, and IPv4/IPv6.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and automation tools such as Ansible.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions within the functional domain.
- Preferred: experience with AI-driven anomaly detection, intelligent log parsing, AIOps, predictive auto-scaling, OpenStack, Ceph, advanced Kubernetes, and secrets management systems such as HashiCorp Vault.
