Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and govern Kubernetes cluster architectures and container platform standards.
- Define and maintain highly available and resilient Kubernetes control-plane architectures.
- Lead architecture decisions for service mesh, storage, networking, security, and platform scalability.
- Establish operational patterns, governance frameworks, architecture documentation, and best practices for containerized environments.
- Provide technical leadership for complex incidents, escalations, and platform challenges.
- Ensure platform security, compliance, reliability, and performance requirements are met.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, networking, storage, and security teams on enterprise architecture alignment.
- Drive continuous improvement and adoption of emerging cloud-native technologies.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and operating enterprise Kubernetes and container platforms.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, container orchestration, platform security, networking, and storage integration.
- Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and resilience design principles.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, service meshes, observability, and platform governance.
- Proven ability to handle complex technical escalations and provide architectural leadership.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), or relevant cloud-native architecture certification experience is preferred.
- German language proficiency at minimum B2 level is mandatory.
- Applicants must hold Swiss citizenship.
