Responsibilities
- Develop, unit test, debug, and implement programs, small projects, and system changes in a custom application environment focused on product security.
- Assist with system architecture and design documentation and consult on encryption management solutions.
- Analyze and improve infrastructure and application performance.
- Work with ecosystem partners to improve security across the compute base from CPU to GPU.
- Support global business users and help ensure enterprise application service-level agreements are met.
- Collaborate with developers, global operations teams, and diverse stakeholders in a global team environment.
Requirements
- Extensive software development experience with Java, .NET, C++, Python, SQL, and UNIX/Linux.
- Experience with web and mobile application development and Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere.
- Understanding of computer architecture, system memory hierarchy, caches, hardware, firmware, and x86 or ARM architectures.
- Knowledge of security and virtualization extensions, data and network security, firewall administration, encryption technologies, and network protocols.
- Experience with firmware, APIs, applications, operating systems, and their interactions across Windows, Linux, gaming, compute, and virtualization environments.
- Database development experience with PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Knowledge of security principles including confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, authorization, and auditing.
- Understanding of industrial security standards including TCG, DMTF, OCP, NIST, FIPS, and Common Criteria.
- Working knowledge of cryptography and encryption key management is an asset.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Systems Security, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Strong debugging, prototyping, testing, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and self-direction skills are required.
