Responsibilities

  • Manage hardware inventory, secure storage, physical IT infrastructure, endpoint provisioning, patching, peripherals, office A/V, networking, and conference room technology.
  • Resolve service and incident requests while maintaining thorough documentation and improving support workflows.
  • Manage identity and access lifecycles, including SSO, SCIM, MFA, security keys, SaaS configurations, and vendor relationships.
  • Track operational metrics, identify trends, communicate capacity insights, and make tooling and architecture decisions.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and GitOps-driven deployment workflows.
  • Develop internal tools and integrations for fleet operations, user lifecycle management, and cross-service orchestration.
  • Design and operate CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, tooling, and endpoint configuration changes.
  • Lead endpoint management platform migrations, policy authoring, GitOps-managed profiles, and fleet telemetry initiatives.
  • Design agentic AI workflows using context engineering to support reliable, bounded automation and validation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to hiring, team culture, and process improvement.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in enterprise IT, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps-focused support.
  • Strong proficiency managing macOS fleets at scale with MDM platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.
  • Proficiency in at least two of Go, Python, and Swift, with experience building production-grade internal tools and API integrations.
  • Deep experience with Okta, Google Workspace, and Active Directory, including SSO, SCIM, Device Assurance Policies, MFA, and user lifecycle automation.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions or equivalent, and Git-based development workflows.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and production or internal-tooling experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team culture, hiring, and process improvement.
  • Preferred: experience in fintech, crypto, or regulated financial services.
  • Preferred: FleetDM, osquery, agentic AI harnesses, context engineering, Claude Code, OpenCode, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, Apple MDM, Munki, AutoPkg, SaltStack, Crestron, Logitech, Chromebox for Meetings, Anthropic, Atlassian, Linear, service management workflows, and SLA reporting.
  • Preferred: experience managing more than 1,000 user accounts across a globally distributed workforce.
