Responsibilities
- Lead the vision, governance, and implementation of the quality assurance and test automation strategy for digital applications.
- Design, code, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and mobile testing.
- Contribute hands-on to full-stack application development across front-end and back-end components.
- Perform performance testing, traffic simulation, bottleneck analysis, and continuous performance testing.
- Use monitoring, debugging, and observability tools to conduct root-cause analysis and resolve complex issues.
- Integrate AI capabilities for test-case generation, test-data creation, defect analysis, and testing efficiency.
- Coach and mentor engineers on testable code, testing techniques, automation tools, and quality-first practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to deliver stable, high-quality user experiences.
- Lead and review QA and performance strategies and drive improvements across the development team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on technology experience with significant experience in software development and test automation.
- Deep hands-on experience building automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Appium, and BrowserStack.
- Extensive performance testing experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, and Gatling.
- Strong full-stack development and testing experience with Angular, React Native, Android Native, iOS Native, Apigee, SpringBoot, and Confluent Kafka.
- Experience with performance monitoring, debugging, and observability using Splunk, Splunk Observability, New Relic, and LogRocket.
- Experience testing and monitoring secure public-cloud environments, preferably AWS, including CloudWatch and Performance Insights.
- Experience across relational, object-oriented, NoSQL, and in-memory databases, as well as Drupal and CDNs such as Akamai and F5.
- Experience integrating functional automated testing and continuous performance testing into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Experience using AI capabilities to enhance automation, generate test data, and improve testing efficiency.
- Ability to lead technical decisions and initiatives, influence engineers, communicate complex technical concepts, and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and strong presentation, facilitation, organizational, and self-motivation skills.
