Responsibilities
- Participate in feature design and architecture discussions and implement production-quality embedded software.
- Develop maintainable C software according to team coding standards.
- Write automated tests and expand regression and performance coverage.
- Improve build scripts, continuous integration workflows, developer tools, and technical documentation.
- Investigate embedded and systems software issues, including customer-reported problems.
- Implement improvements to product quality, developer workflows, and team practices.
- Potentially work with wireless specifications and participate in Bluetooth SIG activities as experience grows.
Requirements
- Experience with software design through coursework, an internship, or a project.
- Strong C programming skills in an embedded or systems context; academic and personal projects count.
- Comfort debugging and testing software and working iteratively with a team.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to learn new domains and tools.
- Experience with AI-powered tools and technologies used to enhance productivity, analysis, and decision-making.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, or a related field with a software focus.
- Helpful but not required: experience with software platforms or APIs, embedded systems, microcontrollers, or development tools.
- Helpful but not required: familiarity with Bluetooth or another communication or short-range connectivity protocol.
- Helpful but not required: experience working in an agile team and interest in wireless systems, energy-efficient embedded design, digital or analog audio, or signal processing.
