Responsibilities
- Own the team’s overall automation strategy from idea through fully built solution.
- Expand automation frameworks and build new tools for validating diagnostic and repair systems.
- Set up monitoring systems and maintain readiness to test the latest generations of Apple products.
- Translate software feature descriptions and requirements into user scenarios, test plans, and test cases.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Apple and explore AI initiatives for existing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of Swift and Python programming experience.
- Experience building and growing XCUITests and supporting frameworks.
- Proven understanding of software testing and QA methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Unix-based systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Preferred: understanding of Jenkins and CI/CD systems, Apple Service Toolkit 2, and Field Diagnostics ecosystems.
- Preferred: exposure to Puppet or Ansible and previous professional robotics experience.
