Base Salary
$228k - $363k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own part of the Songkick product end-to-end across backend, mobile, data pipelines, and notification systems.
- Lead the technical integration of Songkick into Suno and help identify future product and engineering priorities.
- Architect and maintain systems that ingest, normalize, score, and canonicalize touring and event data from many sources.
- Evaluate the existing codebase and decide what to preserve, modernize, or retire.
- Design APIs consumed by mobile clients and collaborate with teams building on them.
- Help shape engineering best practices, roadmap decisions, and the Artists & Creators engineering team.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of software engineering experience with a strong desire to remain hands-on and close to users.
- Experience owning large, ambiguous product areas end-to-end in fast-moving startup environments.
- Strong API design experience working with iOS, Android, or other mobile teams.
- Experience with modern agentic coding workflows, including end-to-end testing harnesses, reusable skills, and clear success criteria.
- Strong communication, collaboration, rapid learning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with data ingestion from 20 or more sources, normalization, source weighting, survivorship rules, and canonical records is valuable.
- Strong SQL and NoSQL experience and strong data modeling and system architecture skills at scale are valuable.
- Experience tuning Web, Android, or iOS performance metrics is valuable.
- Experience building or retrofitting design systems is valuable.
- Hands-on experience with React Native or Ruby on Rails and email or push notification systems is a plus.
