Responsibilities
- Support development of an AI-based automotive software product for thermal management.
- Perform data acquisition, data preparation, modeling, and model validation.
- Develop agent-based tools and workflows for automated data analysis, feature engineering, model iteration, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with an international, interdisciplinary Engineering and AI team to integrate models and tools into prototype or near-series applications.
Requirements
- Currently study engineering, computer science, AI, physics, mathematics, or a comparable subject.
- Have very strong Python skills and knowledge of relevant AI/ML libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Have solid prior experience in machine learning or data science; interest or initial experience with agentic AI approaches is desirable.
- Demonstrate an analytical, independent, and structured working style and interest in automotive and thermal-management applications.
- Have good German and English skills.
- Provide a complete CV, motivation letter, enrollment certificate, academic records, and university internship guidelines showing the minimum duration.
- Non-EU citizens must hold a valid residence permit.
- Purely voluntary internships are currently not available.
