Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new backend features.
- Develop and maintain backend systems using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Design and implement microservices-based solutions.
- Implement data access layers using Hibernate and JPA.
- Integrate and optimize Oracle and MongoDB databases in high-performance environments.
- Manage caching with Redis or comparable caching frameworks.
- Apply test-driven development and shift-left testing practices.
- Perform code reviews, static code analysis, and application performance optimization.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain clean, reliable, and maintainable code.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
- Proficiency with Hibernate, JPA, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Exposure to Redis or equivalent caching technologies.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development and shift-left testing strategies.
- Hands-on experience with JUnit, Mockito, REST Assured, Cucumber, or Selenium.
- Understanding of code quality and application performance optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred familiarity with API gateways, service discovery, distributed tracing, Docker, Kubernetes, SonarQube, Checkstyle, OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, stakeholder interaction, and business-prioritization skills.
