Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement scalable automated test frameworks for functional, performance, scalability, and durability validation.
- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to deploy, schedule, and execute automated test suites.
- Develop code-level integration tests for REST, gRPC, and native system APIs, including Knowledge Graph queries and backend workflows.
- Design reporting infrastructure, telemetry tools, and dashboards for build quality, performance regression, and code coverage.
- Conduct peer reviews, apply object-oriented design patterns, and refactor test codebases.
- Collaborate with software developers and product engineers on architecture evaluation, edge-case identification, coverage standards, and test automation improvements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development, SDET, or automation engineering experience using Python, Java, C++, or C#.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean code authoring.
- Experience building, extending, and maintaining test automation frameworks from scratch using PyTest, JUnit, TestNG, or custom tools.
- Hands-on experience creating, configuring, and scheduling automated pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, or Chef.
- Strong proficiency in code-level REST or gRPC API testing and experience with relational, graph, or NoSQL database management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, GIS, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, distributed-systems or cloud-native infrastructure experience, ArcGIS Enterprise or spatial analytics familiarity, graph database knowledge, and telemetry or live dashboard experience.
