Base Salary
$165k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, low-latency AI services for metadata generation, feature extraction, semantic search, knowledge graph visualization, recommendations, natural-language-to-SQL, and audio/video metadata.
- Develop and deploy autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration frameworks, and LLM-powered workflows for enterprise business processes.
- Build and manage vector database infrastructure, embedding pipelines, and retrieval strategies for operator knowledge queries.
- Build computer vision, feature extraction, content understanding, and object detection models using deep learning, transformers, and LLMs.
- Own features end to end from estimation and architecture review through coding, deployment, and post-launch measurement.
- Build resilient systems with observability, automated testing, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Lead on-call rotations and drive root-cause analysis, observability improvements, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- At least five years of professional software development experience focused on RESTful APIs and AI/ML applications in cloud environments and containerized workloads.
- Experience with computer vision for feature extraction, content understanding, and object detection in audio/video files using LLMs, deep learning, and transformers.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go and at least one AI/ML framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience designing and operating RAG pipelines, including vector databases, embedding models, and retrieval strategies.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying multi-agent systems, agentic AI workflows, or production LLM-based applications.
- Proficiency using large language models for code generation, debugging, and development assistance.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Understanding of object-oriented design, algorithms, and problem-solving.
- Preferred qualifications include a PhD, reinforcement learning experience, knowledge of formal verification or safety-critical systems, AI decision-pipeline observability and audit experience, and research publications or open-source contributions.
