Base Salary
$165k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, low-latency AI services for metadata generation, feature extraction, semantic search, knowledge graphs, recommendations, natural-language-to-SQL, and audio/video metadata.
- Develop and deploy autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration frameworks, and LLM-powered workflows across enterprise domains.
- Build vector database infrastructure, embedding pipelines, and retrieval strategies for operator query answering.
- Build computer vision, feature extraction, content understanding, and object detection models using deep learning and transformers.
- Own features from estimation and architecture review through coding, deployment, and post-launch measurement.
- Build resilient systems with observability, automated testing, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform-based infrastructure as code.
- Lead on-call rotations and drive root-cause analysis, observability improvements, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience focused on RESTful APIs and AI/ML applications in cloud and containerized environments.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go and at least one AI/ML framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience designing and operating RAG pipelines, vector databases, embedding models, audio/video feature extraction, and retrieval strategies.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying multi-agent systems, agentic AI workflows, or LLM-based applications in production.
- Proficiency using large language models for code generation, debugging, and development assistance.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Understanding of object-oriented design, algorithms, and problem-solving.
- Preferred: PhD in a relevant field, reinforcement learning experience, formal verification or safety-critical systems knowledge, AI decision-pipeline observability and audit experience, and machine learning or multi-agent research publications or open-source contributions.
