Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test new BTLE and Bluetooth controller features.
- Develop, port, and optimize firmware for new Bluetooth SoCs.
- Maintain and support Bluetooth controller firmware for existing chips.
- Develop boot-up code, peripheral drivers, and Bluetooth functional modules.
- Create scripts to automate unit testing and verify ROM code in a co-simulation environment.
- Collaborate with validation, stack, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of strong experience in BTLE feature development, Bluetooth controller firmware design, and Bluetooth SoC bring-up.
- Strong understanding of Bluetooth controller specifications and experience developing controller features.
- Understanding of microcontroller architecture, preferably ARM, including boot code and peripheral driver development or porting.
- Experience developing large and complex firmware modules using C and ASM.
- Knowledge of ROM code and patch frameworks.
- Familiarity with controller-specific toolchains, configuration management systems, and software development methodologies.
