Responsibilities
- Ensure uptime, data availability, and performance of the BrightEdge S3 platform on a 24/7/365 basis.
- Debug critical production problems with minimal turnaround time.
- Automate operations across thousands of machines that collect, process, and query data.
- Build and enhance in-house monitoring and maintenance software.
- Develop tools for performance monitoring, code deployment, and machine provisioning.
- Autoscale the global cloud network supporting more than 100 countries.
- Support Fortune 500 customers using the BrightEdge platform.
- Manage hybrid cloud and data center environments.
- Create solutions for new operational and infrastructure challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in computer science or a related field.
- At least 4 years of DevOps experience.
- UNIX/Linux systems knowledge and diagnostic skills.
- MySQL, NoSQL, and database experience.
- Python and shell scripting experience are advantageous.
- Terraform and Ansible experience are advantageous.
- Google Cloud Platform or other cloud technology experience is advantageous.
