Responsibilities
- Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts to software development.
- Develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software and assess operational performance requirements.
- Support all phases of the software development lifecycle for embedded real-time control software.
- Develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, and repair defects.
- Work with multiple programming languages, operating systems, mobile platforms, embedded real-time operating systems, and processor designs.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree, master's degree, or PhD in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, wireless engineering, information security, mathematics, digital arts and sciences, or a related field at an accredited university.
- Preferred skills include one or more of C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, JEE, HTML5, XML, SQL, Qt, Windows, .NET, Unix, Linux, SOA, RTOS, real-time controls, wireless, software security, robotics, OOA/OOD, Hadoop, Android, and embedded systems.
