Responsibilities
- Design scalable architectures for video processing, streaming, and real-time media delivery.
- Define technical solutions using video processing technologies such as GStreamer and FFmpeg.
- Design real-time networking architectures using WebRTC, RTP, STUN, TURN, SFU, and UDP.
- Architect globally distributed AWS infrastructure and highly available multi-region cloud deployments.
- Define infrastructure strategies involving EKS, load balancing, autoscaling, caching, CDN, and serverless services.
- Make architectural decisions involving performance, scalability, reliability, and global traffic distribution.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and architects on implementation and technical decisions.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance during development and implementation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong architecture experience designing scalable and distributed systems.
- Professional experience building video streaming, media processing, or real-time communication systems.
- Strong understanding of real-time networking and media delivery.
- Strong AWS architecture and infrastructure experience, including globally distributed and multi-region systems.
- Ability to work hands-on alongside engineering teams rather than exclusively at a high-level architecture layer.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills.
- Advanced written and verbal English communication skills.
- Preferred experience with iOS video and real-time media development using Swift, WebRTC, AVFoundation, and VideoToolbox.
- Preferred experience with Android video and real-time media development using Kotlin, WebRTC, and MediaCodec.
- Preferred experience with C/C++ development.
