Base Salary
$180k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provision infrastructure and tooling for the Assured platform and new product initiatives.
- Create automated tooling to configure and maintain platforms and services consistently and repeatably.
- Build sustainable methods for monitoring, managing, and scaling platforms and services.
- Improve observability across product areas.
- Identify, recommend, and implement strategies for security regulations and industry best practices.
- Handle incident support and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Lead and mentor engineers on the growing team.
Requirements
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and scalable database solutions, ideally with PostgreSQL.
- Experience working in a scaling environment with Terraform, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Strong engineering background and history of designing systems.
- Ability to build and scale high-quality products and environments from early stages to maturity.
- Ability to automate effectively, identify important technical problems, and coordinate across teams.
- Experience supporting observability platforms, SLOs, monitoring, and alerting.
- Ability to provide technical guidance through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.
