Base Salary
$180k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provision infrastructure and tooling for the Assured platform.
- Create automated tooling for platform configuration and maintenance.
- Build sustainable methods for monitoring and scaling services.
- Improve observability in different product areas.
- Implement strategies for security compliance and best practices.
- Handle incident support and participate in on-call rotation.
- Lead and mentor other engineers on the team.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling high-quality products autonomously.
- Ability to discern when automation is appropriate and present alternatives.
- Initiative to identify and solve important problems collaboratively.
- Experience with code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.
- Persistence in overcoming roadblocks and coordinating with others.
- Experience designing and maintaining highly available database solutions, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Self-motivated with minimal need for direction.
- Passion for implementing observability platforms and monitoring.
- Experience with Terraform, AWS, and Kubernetes in a scaling environment.
- Strong engineering background with a history of system design.
