Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and improve C++ software across different parts of the machine learning software stack.
- Investigate functional and performance issues and contribute to solutions across runtimes, compilers, drivers, and hardware.
- Work with machine learning inference engines, runtimes, compiler technologies, GPU and accelerator integration, and model execution.
- Benchmark, profile, test, and analyze software performance, including through automated validation and testing workflows.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and progressively take on more complex engineering challenges.
Requirements
- Required: C++ software development experience and strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Required: Interest in machine learning software, AI systems, and how models run on different hardware.
- Relevant experience may come from professional work, internships, academic projects, open-source contributions, or other practical software development.
- Beneficial experience includes machine learning inference frameworks such as LiteRT, TensorFlow Lite, or ONNX Runtime.
- Beneficial knowledge includes GPU or compute technologies such as Vulkan, OpenCL, TOSA, and compute kernels.
- Beneficial knowledge includes machine learning runtimes, compilers, drivers, backend integration, computational graphs, operators, memory management, model optimization, ahead-of-time or just-in-time compilation, benchmarking, profiling, testing, and automated testing workflows.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and interest in machine learning systems, AI acceleration, and performance optimization are expected.
