Senior Software Engineer

- Design, build, and maintain reusable platform components, services, applications, shared frameworks, microservices, APIs, and developer tooling.
- Partner with internal product and engineering teams to understand needs and deliver scalable, documented solutions.
- Lead architectural decisions and implementation efforts aligned with long-term platform strategy.
- Champion API design, documentation, usability, developer experience, code quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor engineers, and influence technical direction across teams.
- Improve platform reliability, performance, developer productivity, internal engineering processes, CI/CD pipelines, and development workflows.
- Support integration, deployment, cloud adoption, infrastructure modernization, and troubleshooting of complex cross-team issues.
- Participate in agile development processes and help define and refine work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience designing and delivering scalable distributed systems in a senior or lead engineering capacity.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver commitments, and operate with high ownership.
- Experience collaborating across teams and influencing technical direction beyond an immediate scope.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET 10 for building production-grade services.
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs with emphasis on usability and consistency.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end frameworks such as Angular.
- Familiarity with Linux-based environments, Git, and Docker.
- Experience with test-driven development and building maintainable, testable systems.
- Preferred experience with platform-level services, internal developer platforms, cloud-native architectures, NoSQL databases, object or document storage, messaging and event-driven systems, notification and integration services, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, performance or load testing, LocalStack, and AWS experience or certifications.
