Base Salary
$170k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design high-performance, extensible, and scalable application services embedded in external PLM environments.
- Define technical direction and engineering patterns across multiple teams and products.
- Integrate production ML pipelines into the application layer, including optimized model serving and real-time geometry analysis.
- Establish ring-fenced data governance and secure operations across partner and Xometry infrastructure.
- Lead execution of the core enterprise integration and align DFM and IQE AI engines with partnership goals.
- Facilitate technical decisions, advise senior leadership and external partners, and coordinate cross-functional engineering efforts.
- Define reliability, security, enterprise SLI/SLO, and multi-tenant deployment standards.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional software development experience and a history of scaling complex platforms.
- Expert-level mastery of Python, AWS infrastructure, and React/Next.js for enterprise applications.
- Experience shaping technical direction across multiple teams and establishing organizational engineering standards.
- Track record of securing endorsement for and delivering 6–12 month technical initiatives to production.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and external partners on technical strategy and long-term investments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with SaaS platforms or complex B2B integration hubs.
- Preferred background in manufacturing, logistics, or CAD/PLM ecosystems.
- Preferred understanding of enterprise data controls, dedicated tenants, and SOC2/ISO compliance in cloud environments.
- Preferred experience architecting large-scale ML platforms or high-frequency marketplace engines.
