Base Salary
$98k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create and support a team while collaborating with peers, managers, and other teams.
- Develop scripts to automate routine tasks.
- Analyze information and evaluate results to select effective solutions.
- Apply computer science course knowledge to real-world challenges.
- Design, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions during the internship.
- Work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree, or possessing post-secondary or training experience, focused on software development or a related technical field.
- Experience developing software and coding in at least two general-purpose programming languages.
- Experience with data structures or algorithms gained through school, work, or other activities.
- Preferred: currently attending a US degree program and available to work full time for 12 weeks outside university term time.
- Preferred: returning to a degree program after completing the internship.
- Preferred: programming experience in at least three listed languages or similar languages.
- Preferred: experience with AI/ML, infrastructure, web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, large software systems, or security software development.
