Base Salary

$211k - $254k/yr

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of highly-available, scalable, and distributed systems.
Mentor engineers in Go application development and advocate for best practices.
Drive process and architecture improvements by automating manual tasks.
Define and communicate the technical roadmap for API Services.
Anticipate and implement major architectural changes for system reliability.
Champion Platform Engineering best practices for the API Services team.
Contribute to core infrastructure needs using tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.
Participate in an on-call rotation.

At least 7 years of related development experience with global-scale distributed systems.
Hands-on experience developing applications in GoLang.
Solid experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
Track record of process improvements through automation.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
Deep expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Proven ability to drive and deliver complex projects across teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working with distributed teams across time zones.
