Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities
- Implement and refine infrastructure security measures, including secure code and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
- Create and maintain security reference implementations and templates.
- Configure and manage security alerting and monitoring systems for web applications.
- Review, triage, escalate, and respond to security findings and active threats.
- Lead security training sessions and conduct incident and disaster recovery exercises.
- Collaborate with IT and Platform teams on secure permissions and configurations.
- Work with security teams and vendors on audits, scans, and assessments.
- Contribute security expertise to architecture and security review processes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience writing and deploying secure code, including Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience configuring and managing monitoring and alerting systems for web applications.
- Hands-on experience in security engineering and incident management.
- In-depth knowledge of web security principles, including cookies, security headers, and DNS.
- In-depth AWS knowledge, including networking, IAM roles, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Ability to review architecture proposals, improve security designs, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience delivering security training to technical teams is preferred.
- Experience briefing executives and working in a fast-paced B2C environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with CDK, Cognito, and Datadog is advantageous.
