Responsibilities
- Ensure the availability, reliability, performance, and resilience of cloud-native platforms and customer-facing services.
- Drive automation, observability, and operational excellence across distributed systems.
- Implement and maintain end-to-end monitoring, logging, tracing, and reliability metrics.
- Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs with product and engineering teams.
- Identify system bottlenecks, performance risks, and operational improvements.
- Partner with Development, Architecture, Security, and Data teams to embed reliability throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and on-call support.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering, production operations, and high-availability environments.
- Proven expertise in incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and on-call support.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Splunk.
- Senior-level experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automation, and security tooling.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Understanding of networking, distributed systems, Agile delivery practices, and cross-functional collaboration.
