Base Salary
$106k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications for space systems and technologies.
- Write clean, maintainable code that follows software development best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver software solutions.
- Use Git or other version control systems to manage code changes.
- Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot software-related issues.
- Document software designs, configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay current with software development and space technology trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Typically 2+ years of related experience.
- Strong understanding of at least one programming language and general knowledge of others.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and the ability to design, code, test, and debug complex applications.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum/Kanban development methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required.
- U.S. Citizenship required because the role requires an active U.S. Security Clearance.
- Preferred experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, NoMagic, MATLAB, requirements management, systems modeling, MBSE, INCOSE standards, interface control documents, requirements specifications, design decomposition, technical performance measurements, and aerospace or defense programs.
