Base Salary
$180k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain and modernize GitLab CI/CD configurations, runners, jobs, pipelines, and build systems.
- Troubleshoot failed builds and deployments while improving pipeline reliability, efficiency, and standardization.
- Automate Docker image building, tagging, scanning, and publishing.
- Maintain Terraform configurations used to provision AWS infrastructure.
- Automate vulnerability identification and support remediation for containers and software dependencies.
- Develop scripts and automation to reduce repetitive operational tasks.
- Troubleshoot Linux, container, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure issues.
- Administer Kubernetes/RKE2 environments, including deployments, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, configurations, and supporting automation.
- Document processes, configurations, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required; green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required, with an additional four years of experience accepted as a substitute.
- 14 years of systems engineering experience required.
- Experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Linux, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Make/build automation.
- Experience writing or modifying YAML-based CI/CD configurations.
- Experience scripting with Bash, Python, or a similar language.
- Experience with container image creation, tagging, registries, and container security concepts.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code concepts and Terraform workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and methodically.
