Base Salary
$55k - $126k/yr
Responsibilities
- Apply mathematical methods to data-driven challenges involving optimization, modeling, probability, and algorithmic development.
- Support AI and machine learning algorithm design, model validation, analytic experimentation, and explainability analysis.
- Evaluate advanced AI and ML techniques for trustworthiness, robustness, and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and mission experts to address client and defense mission questions.
Requirements
- Experience with Python, Java, C++, Go, or JavaScript programming languages or frameworks.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, version control, and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Scheduled to obtain a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a STEM field by Spring or Summer 2028.
- Preferred experience includes AI or ML model development or integration, cloud platforms, containerization, DevSecOps tooling, databases such as SQL or NoSQL, and data engineering pipelines.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information science, or a STEM-related field is preferred.
