Responsibilities
- Write code that meets project requirements and complies with documentation and design standards.
- Assist with writing documentation that translates project needs into software design specifications.
- Assist in correcting defects identified through QA software testing and systems testing.
- Work under supervision on assigned tasks or portions of projects.
- Develop knowledge of software engineering responsibilities at higher grades.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree and fewer than two years of experience.
- Alternatively, candidates without a degree may qualify with four to six years of combined education and equivalent work experience.
- Work experience may typically substitute for education at a ratio of one year of experience to one year of education.
