Responsibilities
- Perform cybersecurity and security risk assessments for mainline railway subsystems, including Zones and Conduits architectures.
- Identify unacceptable risks and applicable cybersecurity functions and specify requirements to comply with the European Cybersecurity Resilience Act.
- Define and validate cybersecurity architectures, solutions, countermeasures, platform requirements, and implementation.
- Define and enforce program cybersecurity processes, rules, guidelines, and security information across program teams and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with platform and program teams to develop solutions that reduce risks to acceptable levels.
- Support the platform cybersecurity manager on joint railway programs, with a focus on PKI implementation and cybersecurity testing.
- Mentor teams on cybersecurity solution implementation and help resolve technical issues in cybersecurity test programs.
Requirements
- Master's degree in engineering, technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in railway signaling systems or industrial cybersecurity, with strong architecture and functional knowledge.
- Knowledge of risk assessment processes.
- Fluency with Linux and Windows operating systems, including services and configuration.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Strong cybersecurity interest, leadership and team-motivation skills, analytical problem-solving ability, and planning, prioritization, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive change through innovation and process improvement.
