Responsibilities
- Apply machine learning and AI techniques to develop model systems for healthcare.
- Collaborate with product leaders and healthcare professionals to deliver high-value solutions.
- Design and evaluate solutions involving structured and unstructured healthcare data.
- Conduct research to select appropriate algorithms and evaluation methods.
- Perform data collection, cleaning, analysis, and model training.
- Implement responsible AI evaluation practices and custom model performance metrics.
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture and share knowledge across the organization.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Proven industry experience in a commercial SaaS environment.
- Hands-on experience with healthcare data such as EHR and clinical notes.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with SQL for AI/ML applications.
- Experience with big data frameworks like Azure Data Lake or Apache Spark.
- Solid understanding of transformer models and LLM-based approaches.
- Experience with modern ML packages and public cloud infrastructure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
