Base Salary
$69k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Explore optimization, modeling, probability, and algorithmic development approaches for defense mission challenges.
- Apply mathematical methods to data-driven problems and evaluate advanced AI and machine learning techniques.
- Design algorithms, validate models, conduct analytic experiments, and perform explainability analysis.
- Build software components, tools, applications, and pipelines that integrate machine learning into operational workflows.
- Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, mission experts, and users to develop mission-relevant solutions.
- Iterate on features, incorporate user feedback, and gain exposure to cloud environments, DevSecOps toolchains, and secure development practices.
Requirements
- Experience with programming languages or frameworks including Python, Java, C++, Go, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, version control, and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Scheduled to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a STEM field by Spring or Summer 2027.
