Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical architecture and solution design for complex projects.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams and drive technical decisions, technology selection, and implementation approaches.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments while defining technical roadmaps and engineering best practices.
- Design and build cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform and develop BigQuery solutions for analytics and data processing.
- Implement cloud security, monitoring, access management, deployment, scalability, and performance best practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain Python backend applications and REST APIs using FastAPI.
- Integrate backend services with databases, cloud services, external platforms, and AI models.
- Design and implement Generative AI applications, OpenAI API integrations, AI-driven workflows, and automation capabilities.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle from design through production support, including delivery, testing, deployment, and release activities.
- Identify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and align technical delivery with business goals.
Requirements
- Mandatory spoken and written Swedish proficiency.
- 5–10 years of professional experience in relevant engineering and technical leadership work.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Python, FastAPI, OpenAI API integration, and Generative AI solutions.
- Experience leading development teams and driving technical decisions.
- Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, AI agents, workflow automation, cloud security, IAM, CI/CD, DevOps practices, automated testing, data platforms, monitoring, observability, database design, and optimization is preferred.
- Experience conducting code reviews, enforcing engineering best practices, and defining technical roadmaps is preferred.
- GCP or AI/Generative AI certifications are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in hybrid and distributed teams is preferred.
