Base Salary
$174k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as lead architect for the overall program solution architecture.
- Support the Chief Engineer with the technical vision, architecture roadmap, and engineering strategy.
- Define and maintain the enterprise architecture framework governing the FENS solution.
- Integrate network, security, cloud, OSS/BSS, monitoring, automation, service management, and operational platforms.
- Evaluate architectural alternatives and conduct technical trade studies.
- Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Lead architecture review boards and technical design reviews.
- Coordinate solution architecture activities across engineering disciplines.
- Support requirements analysis, system decomposition, interface definition, and technical allocation.
- Assess technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Validate scalability, resiliency, security, maintainability, and performance objectives.
- Support transition planning and operational readiness.
- Provide executive-level technical briefings and architecture recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience designing and integrating large-scale enterprise IT, telecommunications, cloud, or network solutions.
- Experience serving as a lead architect on complex federal programs.
- Experience developing enterprise architecture frameworks and integrated technical solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, automation, and service management systems.
- Experience with large-scale network modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances.
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline is desired.
- Desired experience includes enterprise telecommunications, managed network services, and SD-WAN architectures.
- Desired knowledge includes cloud architecture, network transformation, IT service management, and automation platforms.
- Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle methodologies and enterprise architecture frameworks is desired.
- TOGAF, CISSP, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, PMP, or equivalent professional certifications are desired.
