Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, troubleshoot, and maintain product models for distribution systems and service offerings.
- Develop product models according to requirements from product managers, sales configurator portfolio managers, and engineers.
- Structure product models to support high-quality change management and simplified maintenance.
- Collaborate with IS and business stakeholders to deliver an efficient, user-friendly sales configurator solution.
- Work with the platform supplier or implementation partner to maintain product model integrity as the platform evolves.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and fix problems reported by users.
- Contribute to the overall sales configurator development process.
Requirements
- Demonstrated skill and experience in product modeling and configuration within sales configurator tools.
- Established experience with the software development lifecycle, including tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Expertise in programming languages such as .NET, Python, Java, or similar technologies.
- Experience with configurator platforms; Configit ACE experience is an advantage.
- Experience or strong understanding of industrial product portfolios; knowledge of ABB’s Distribution Solution and Service portfolios is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively while working proactively, independently, and in a solution-oriented manner.
- Comfort working in agile, fast-paced environments and commitment to continuous learning.
