Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and build CMDB systems serving as the authoritative source for infrastructure assets, topology, and configuration data.
- Develop DCIM platforms for rack operations, server and GPU deployment, OS installation, quality assurance, and white-screen operations.
- Create asset lifecycle management systems covering receiving, racking, inventory, break-fix, and decommissioning workflows.
- Build monitoring, observability, alarming, incident management, logging, and debugging capabilities across BMS, EPMS, and IT devices.
- Develop self-service portals, workflow automation, orchestration systems, digital twin visualizations, dashboards, and vendor integrations.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, data center, security, product, support, and business stakeholders to define and deliver scalable solutions.
- Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions, participate in architecture reviews, conduct code reviews, document systems, and share technical knowledge.
- Design fault-tolerant systems capable of handling thousands of QPS and own projects through deployment and production readiness.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience building production systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages and knowledge of system design patterns.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, data models, distributed systems, relational and NoSQL databases, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows, networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP, and Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong problem-solving, scalability, reliability, operational, and communication skills.
- Experience with CMDB or asset management platforms such as NetBox or Device42.
- Background in infrastructure automation, DevOps, or platform engineering.
- Familiarity with Temporal, Airflow, or Camunda and monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Knowledge of time-series databases, data visualization, ITSM frameworks such as ITIL, and service management practices.
- Experience in data center operations, facilities management, or physical infrastructure is valued.
- Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects are valued.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
