Responsibilities
- Lead ambitious machine learning projects and collaborate with multiple engineers to deliver impactful solutions.
- Develop AI capabilities that improve clinicians’ workflows beyond ambient scribing.
- Design and guide experiments, model architectures, and data-labeling strategies for speech-to-text, note-generation, and normalization systems.
- Implement, train, and deploy robust, scalable models in production healthcare environments.
- Optimize machine learning R&D processes so the team can ship models quickly and confidently.
- Share AI research expertise, mentor engineers, and contribute to the growth and maturity of the ML team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience training and deploying neural networks for real-world use cases.
- Deep expertise in machine learning and strong technical depth.
- Proven ability to lead ML projects, collaborate across teams, and mentor junior engineers.
- Advanced Python coding skills and the ability to write clean, production-ready code.
- A vision for applying AI to transform healthcare workflows.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Broader software engineering experience, including infrastructure or front-end development, is a plus.
