Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain secure iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Create reusable, modular, maintainable application components using appropriate architecture and design patterns.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, JSON, networking frameworks, third-party SDKs, and libraries.
- Implement secure communication, authentication, token management, API security, HTTPS/TLS, and SSL/Certificate Pinning.
- Troubleshoot memory leaks, retain cycles, crashes, performance issues, and application stability problems.
- Write and maintain unit and automated tests, with UI testing as applicable.
- Participate in code reviews, Git-based development, CI/CD activities, production support, and cross-functional Agile delivery.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Swift and hands-on SwiftUI experience.
- Good understanding of UIKit, iOS frameworks, the iOS application lifecycle, and mobile development best practices.
- Working knowledge of Objective-C and mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, Coordinator, Clean Architecture, and Dependency Injection.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, URLSession or equivalent networking frameworks, authentication, token management, and API response handling.
- Hands-on experience with iOS application security, API security, and SSL/Certificate Pinning.
- Understanding of HTTPS/TLS, App Transport Security, Keychain, secure data storage, and token storage.
- Experience troubleshooting memory management issues, retain cycles, crashes, and performance problems using Instruments and iOS debugging/profiling tools.
- Experience with XCTest and unit testing; UI testing knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience with CocoaPods and/or Swift Package Manager, Git, branching, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.
- Understanding of modern Swift concurrency, including async/await, Task, Actor, and MainActor, is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant professional iOS application development experience and effective communication and collaboration skills are preferred.
- Relevant iOS development experience of 3–7 years, with Developer or Senior Developer level determined by overall experience and technical depth.
