Responsibilities
- Design, implement and own data-intensive, high-performance, scalable platform components.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and cross-functional partners on project development.
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and performance tuning.
- Coach and mentor engineers to scale the engineering organization.
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficient in at least one backend language, preferably Java or Typescript, Ruby, GoLang, or Python.
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Redis, or PostgreSQL.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and API design skills.
- Ability to work on a geographically distributed team with a focus on ownership and accountability.
- Experience in delivering work incrementally for feedback and iteration.
