Base Salary
$165k - $207k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build polished user interfaces for Box’s mobile applications using UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
- Optimize the iOS application for performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement scalable features.
- Debug crashes, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues.
- Participate in peer code reviews, technical discussions, and design documentation.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to and triage application issues.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience building and launching iOS applications.
- Proficiency in Swift and a solid understanding of iOS development concepts.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, reliable, reusable, and testable code.
- Understanding of observability and industry software development practices.
- Effective collaboration skills with local and remote teammates.
- Passion for learning new technologies and frameworks.
- Preferred: knowledge of App Store submission and app lifecycle management.
- Preferred: experience with React Native and/or Android applications.
