Responsibilities
- Design and build full-stack software solutions for field operations, billing, and service workflows.
- Analyze business needs, system flows, data usage, requirements, risks, and technical trade-offs before implementation.
- Define technical specifications, document solutions, and deploy software through QA and production support.
- Investigate production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate hotfixes, and partner with Architecture, DBA, and infrastructure teams.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize patterns in development work and production issues.
- Mentor less experienced engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
- Follow Clean Harbors’ health and safety policies and protect confidential business information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Full-stack development experience with the Microsoft .NET stack.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted software development and code-generation tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot.
- Proficiency in prompt engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, analytical ability, software design, debugging, documentation, testing, problem-solving, teamwork, and software development fundamentals.
