Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic security architecture solutions for critical technology programs and Fidelity Charitable’s digital ecosystem.
  • Evaluate emerging threats and improve application security, fraud protection, and the overall security posture of capabilities.
  • Provide technical vision and leadership for new business capabilities and evolving platforms.
  • Define and maintain technical strategy and coordinated roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
  • Influence product roadmaps and drive adoption of enterprise security standards and methodologies.
  • Produce security architecture blueprints, frameworks, migration plans, and proofs of concept.
  • Architect identity management, cloud security, application security, network security, and secure software solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and technology partners to drive strategy adoption and execution.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of application security frameworks, secure application development, and application security risk mitigation.
  • Experience with SOA, microservices, event-driven, and serverless architecture design and implementation.
  • Experience architecting identity management solutions including single sign-on, federated identity, authorization, and identity provisioning.
  • Knowledge of IAM, cryptography and key management, access controls, security protocols, secrets management, SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
  • Experience with firewalls, WAF, DMZs, edge services, and network architectures.
  • Experience addressing cloud security challenges, particularly in AWS environments.
  • Experience developing applications with Java and Spring and using integration patterns involving APIs, streaming, messaging, and file exchange.
  • Solid foundation in software engineering and continuous delivery practices.
  • Ability to create complete proofs of concept, define migration plans, establish strategies, make technical tradeoffs, and influence enterprise adoption.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISA, CCSP, AWS Security Principles, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Clear communication and ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
