Responsibilities
- Coach and train Operations teams in development best practices for infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code.
- Facilitate collaboration between Porto Production/Ops and Paris Development teams and help align their working practices.
- Audit, maintain, and optimize deployment and release processes using XL Deploy and XL Release.
- Design scripts and automation components to reduce manual work and secure production deployments.
- Configure, fine-tune, and optimize IIS web servers hosted on Windows virtual machines.
- Support migration of applications to OpenShift, including container image creation, image management, and pod lifecycle management.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Python and PowerShell for scripting and automation.
- Knowledge of XL Deploy and XL Release, or similar release-management tools.
- Excellent knowledge of configuring and setting up IIS servers on Windows virtual machines.
- Practical experience with OpenShift, including image creation and pod management and lifecycle.
- Knowledge of C# is desirable.
- Strong coaching, teaching, collaboration, communication, pragmatism, and remote-working skills.
- Good proficiency in English at B2 level is essential.
