Base Salary
$215k - $266k/yr
Responsibilities
- Oversee the lifecycle of spatial AI and visual navigation features.
- Conceptualize and drive complex technical challenges from architecture to deployment.
- Establish benchmarking pipelines to evaluate algorithms against commercial solutions.
- Develop and integrate deep learning and classical CV algorithms for semantic information extraction.
- Design and manage a rigorous benchmarking framework for internal and vendor technologies.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and UI engineers to manage data products and render maps.
- Drive performance tuning for edge deployment of tracking algorithms.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical strategy discussions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in algorithm and software development, focusing on computer vision or robotics.
- Expertise in modern C++ (C++14 or later) and Python.
- Experience with ROS1/ROS2 and Visual SLAM.
- Hands-on experience with 3D reconstruction and mapping architectures.
- Ability to decompose high-level goals into actionable engineering tasks.
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent experience.
