Responsibilities
- Develop platforms and implement fraud detection models for the banking sector.
- Optimize code and compute and perform unit testing.
- Schedule and distribute code on the data analytics platform.
- Work with the shared model-development codebase.
- Assist with machine learning model development and deployment.
- Collaborate with data scientists in the squad and maintain systems.
Requirements
- Experience with GCP and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with GitHub, Airflow or Cloud Composer, Spark or DataProc, Terraform, and containerization.
- Proficiency in data and software engineering, especially distributed computing with Spark 3.5 or later.
- Python programming experience and familiarity with clean coding practices.
- Understanding of MLOps and experience participating in ML model deployment.
- Familiarity with Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and independent-working skills.
- Preferred: code or compute optimization and tuning experience, large-dataset experience for fraud detection, additional machine learning frameworks or libraries, relevant certifications, banking-sector experience, and a master’s degree in computer science, statistics, data science, or a related field.
- English proficiency at B2 level.
